Why is my Air Conditioner leaking water?Inside your AC Unit contains a evaporator coil that cools the warm air blown over it. This causes condensation to form on the coil. just like how water droplets form on a glass of cold water. The moisture on the coil drips into a drain pan which leads to a drain line out to the water drainage. There are a few things that may cause that water to leak out from the AC Unit. Cause 1 : Clogged condensate drain line Most common cause of water leaking is when the drain line gets clogged with dust, dirt, sludges or mold, that water backs up to the unit. Cause 2 : Damaged/rusted drain pan Old AC unit drain pan may be damaged or rusted through, so water just falls right through dripping out. Cause 3 : Broken condensation pump For systems that requires a condensation pump to pumps water outside the premises, water may leaks if the pump breaks since the water isn't being pumped outside anymore. Cause 4 : Dirty air filter A dirty air filter blocks airflow over the evaporator coil. When that happens, the evaporator coil gets too cold and freezes over. When it melts, it drips an excess amount of water that the pan may not be able to handle. Cause 5 : Low refrigerant Just like a dirty air filter, low refrigerant will lower pressure in the AC system, causing the evaporator coil to freeze over. When the coil melts, water overflows the drain pan.

Why is my AC Airflow weaken? If you noticed that your air conditioner's air flow suddenly went from strong to weak, several reasons include : Cause 1 : A clogged air filter Your AC can only put out as much air as it intake through the return vents. But a clogged, dirty filter limits the amount of air your AC can pull in from the environment. Cause 2 : Frozen evaporator coil Your AC cools the air inside your home by passing it over a cold evaporator coils. However if the moisture over those coils are freezed causing the narrow airway even harder to pass through, it basically blocks the air passing over into the duct system which results in a significantly weaker air flow. Several things could cause your evaporator coils to freeze over, including: A dirty air filter or blocked return vent Dirt on your evaporator coils A refrigerant leak Cause 3 : Leaky or blocked air ducts Air ducts deliver cool air throughout your premises. So, if there are any holes, leaks or blockages with the duct system, significant decrease in amount of cold air coming from those vents will be noticed. Oftentimes, recent renevotion, contruction or tech works on or nearby your ducts can result in kinks in flex duct or damaged, leaky ducts. Cause 4 : Problems with AC blower AC blower is located inside AC unit and is very likely culprit when it comes to losss of airflow. It's the "fan" that pushes all the cold air through the ducts and into the premises. Bigger BTU AC unit usually have a stronger push blower. Some typical blower issues that restrict airflow include: Excessive amount of dust or dirt on the blades Bad blower motor

Why is my AC not cold? Before you panic and start calling anyone for service, some of the most common causes are: False Alarm 1: Your AC setting is set to fan mode False Alarm 2: Someone set earlier the Temperature warmer False Alarm 3: Weak remote control battery Until you have cleared the aboves, then we are looking at some real issues. Some of these causes include: Cause 1: Dirty air filter A dirty filter will stop the free flow of air preventing the AC from cooling as much as it should. Cause 2: Low refrigerant AC not blowing cold air would happen if your AC unit is low on refrigerant or as people call, "Aircon gas". A loss of refrigerant can certainly result in the aircon not blowing cold air and it may even signal that there may be a leak. Cause 3 : Dirty AC compressor When the AC compressor becomes dirty or blocked, it can keep the unit from cooling properly. It could be a matter of some debris getting into the compressor. Cause 4: Damage ductwork or drainage pipe There are times when the AC ductworks is damaged. Cold air maybe leaking out somewhere not needed. Moisture could build up causing dripping, AC unit may need to work harder in order to maintain the set temperature. Cause 5: Fan stop working AC fan wheel is no longer operating properly or fan motor failure. Cause 6 : Frozen AC unit The AC unit has frozen on the outside.

How often should I schedule for AC servicing?Recommended every quarterly. Chemical wash every semi-annually. Mold does have a tendency to grow inside air conditioners that sit unused for a while. It’s likely that mold developed in the unit due to moisture and you didn’t notice it until you turned on your AC unit . And you’re right to be concerned about the health issues this can cause: Mold spores produce allergens that can lead to sore throats, headaches, and various respiratory symptoms. While odds are the mold in your AC unit is not the scary black mold (Stachybotrys chartarum) that you’ve heard about, inhaling mold spores of any type can result in respiratory disorders.

How long will a typical servicing take?45 minutes per AC unit without chemical wash 90 minutes per AC unit with chemical wash Chemical wash include cleaning the evaporator coils, filters, and condenser, and immersing using a chemical solution to remove any sticky dirt particles and corrosive acids from the internal parts. We also flush those internal drainage pipes with the chemical. AC repair is subjected to spare parts availability and may take more than one visit. Frequent AC service helps to prolong your AC usability and performance.

How much is the transportation charges?$50 per trip for just survey/checking , however this amount will be waived with AC service engaged on the same visit.
